  1. Marrickville Council will make history in either bending to political pressure and threats
or standing straight with support to human rights. Rev. Tutu mentioned in his lecture at Arizona University, 30/03/2011 that:
“In South Africa, we could not have achieved our freedom and just peace without the help of people around the world, who, through the use of non-violent means, such as boycotts and divestment, encouraged their governments and other corporate actors to reverse decades-long support for the Apartheid regime”.

  2. G’day, folks 🙂

A sister is someone special – even more so when ‘she’ is ‘adopted’. Honouring each other is the most important thing in the world. Each can rely on the other. Bethlehem needs Marrickville with all the surety that blood relations would bring. Can the councillors find it in their hearts on Tuesday night to reach out to their adopted sister? Please vote to keep BDS alive. Do it for the people of the West Bank. Do it for your sister.
